Information on travel teams:

- Travel teams play games on Sundays in the afternoon and two practices per week are expected

- Play on a travel team is competitive with teams in three divisions D6, D5, and D4 with D4 being the most competitive that CMYSA participates 

- Teams usually go to one tournament per season, the fall kicks off with a tournament in Plum for interested teams 

- Once players are assigned to a travel team, parents/guardians will register them in sportsconnect and will be required to upload their child(s) birth certificate. This is for PA West to verify player age. Parents/guardians are also expected to purchase their player uniforms after registration.

- If players are part of a travel team and inhouse team they only pay to play on the travel team, playing on the inhouse team is free. If an inhouse practice conflicts with the travel practice it is expected that the players attend their travel practice and will not be penalized during inhouse games. 

NEW: travel team assignment will depend on four things:

1. player evaluation score
2. player inhouse/travel ranks from the previous season
3. if there's room on a travel team roster
4. whether the travel coach approves the player
